What is CIDB?
CIDB stands for the Construction Industry Development Board, a national body established by the South African government to regulate and promote the construction industry. It ensures that construction companies are registered, graded, and compliant before they can participate in government or public sector projects.

Who Must Register?

Documents Required for CIDB Grade 1
- Company Registration Document (CK or CoR14.3)
- Certified ID copy of all directors
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate / PIN
- Proof of address
- Signed application form
CIDB Registration Fees (Grade 1)
- Application Fee: ± R450 (Payable to CIDB)
- Annual Renewal Fee: ± R450
CIDB Registration Process
- Complete the application form (we assist with this).
- Submit the required documents listed above.
- Pay the R450 fee directly to CIDB.
- CIDB processes the application and issues your certificate (usually Grade 1).
- The certificate is valid for 3 years with annual renewals.
